Wall Insulation
Wall Insulation Rebate of $0.45 per Square Foot!

Adding wall insulation is one way to greatly improve your home's energy efficiency. Inadequate insulation and air leakage are the leading causes of energy waste in many homes. The wall insulation measure refers to insulating the cavities between internal and external wall faces, and is one of the most effective ways to save energy through insulation. When air flows around and through insulation, the effectiveness of the insulation is greatly reduced. For this reason, we strongly recommend that air sealing is performed prior to installation of insulation in a home. Danville Utilities Home$ave wants to help you add insulation to your wall, adding rebates to make increased wall insulation in your home even more of a no-brainer!

Residential electric customers are eligible for a mail-in rebate of $0.45 per square foot of wall space by submitting a Rebate Application with required proof of purchase.

The addition of insulation to an existing wall is eligible for a rebate through a post-purchase application process. Equipment should be purchased on or after July 1, 2019. Home$ave rebate applications are valid for 90 days after product purchase. After 90 days, the equipment is no longer eligible for rebates from Danville Utilities.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate Level
