Instantaneous Gas Water Heater

Instantaneous or tankless gas water heaters provide hot water instantly as water flows through the unit. Retrofit installations are eligible for a rebate via a post-purchase application process.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate level: Must replace an existing electric storage water heater of at least 40 gallons or more. Qualifying system equipment must meet or exceed an Energy Factor of 0.75. Equipment must be purchased as a new unit. The rebate for a Instantaneous Gas Water Heater is $200 per unit.

High Efficiency Gas Water Heater

High Efficiency gas water heaters have a higher Energy Factor and are more efficient than standard gas water heaters. Retrofit installations are eligible for a rebate via a post-purchase application process.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate level: Must replace an existing electric storage water heater of at least 40 gallons or more. Qualifying system equipment must meet or exceed an Energy Factor of 0.67. Equipment must be purchased as a new unit. The rebate for a High Efficiency Gas Water Heater is $200 per unit.

Condensing Gas Water Heater

Condensing gas water heaters are more efficient than standard water heaters because they capture exhaust heat and use it to help heat the water. Retrofit installations are eligible for a rebate via a post-purchase application process.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate level: Must replace an existing electric storage water heater of at least 40 gallons or more. Qualifying system equipment must meet or exceed an Energy Factor of 0.80. Equipment must be purchased as a new unit. The rebate for a Condensing Gas Water Heater is $200 per unit.
