Attic Insulation
Attic Insulation Rebate of $0.10 per Square Foot!

Adding attic insulation is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to greatly improve your home's energy efficiency. Inadequate insulation and air leakage are the leading causes of energy waste in many homes. When you install the proper amount of insulation, you keep the heat or air conditioning inside of your house where it belongs. Increasing the insulation in your attic provides a stronger barrier between the inside of your home and the elements outside. When air flows through insulation, the effectiveness of the insulation is greatly reduced. For this reason, we strongly recommend that air sealing is performed prior to installation of insulation in a home. Danville Utilities Home$ave wants to help you add insulation to your attic, adding rebates to make increased attic insulation in your home even more of a no-brainer!

Residential electric customers are eligible for a mail-in rebate of $0.10 per square foot of attic space by submitting a Rebate Application with required proof of purchase.

Applicability

The addition of insulation to an existing attic is eligible for a rebate through a post-purchase application process. Equipment should be purchased on or after July 1, 2019. Home$ave rebate applications are valid for 90 days after product purchase. After 90 days, the equipment is no longer eligible for rebates from Danville Utilities.

Equipment Eligibility & Rebate Level
