Danville Utilities Custom$ave, our commercial energy efficiency rebate program, is designed as a full service solution to meet the needs of our business customers. Custom$ave is a program with the end goal of providing a means to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency for our commercial electric customers -- concepts that are key components to operating successful businesses.
Through Custom$ave, Danville Utilities works one-on-one with qualifying commercial and industrial customers, providing incentives for the purchase of qualifying energy-efficient equipment for use in your facilities.
Danville Utilities Custom$ave was started with one purpose in mind: To help our commercial and industrial electric customers save energy and money on their utility bills.
Through Custom$ave, we want to guide and assist business customers through the entire energy efficiency project process. We will provide incentives for rebates to make those money-saving projects a reality.
To participate in the Custom$ave Rebate Program, customers must be classified as and served under a Danville Utilities Worship Sanctuary Service (Rate Schedule 15), Small General Electric Service (Rate Schedule 40), Medium General Electric Service (Rate Schedules 50, 55, 56) or Large General Electric Service (Rate Schedules 60, 65, 66) rate schedule.To qualify for a rebate, customers must have a potential energy efficiency improvement project for their business that can be measured and verified which will reduce the commercial facility's electric demand by at least one kilowatt (kW) or control at least one kW of the facility's electric load. Energy efficiency project must be installed on or after June 10, 2011
Examples of equipment that may be eligible for rebates are high efficiency lighting, occupancy sensors, air conditioning, heating systems, motors, refrigeration, energy managements systems, and just about anything else that uses electricity more efficiently and reduces or controls electric load at your facility!Danville Utilities will work one-on-one with your business to identify potential energy efficiency projects that will be eligible for rebates!
